Choose the Support You Need
Digital Record Check & Share Code
Fixed fee: £50

This service includes:
- checking that you can access your UKVI account;
- checking that your eVisa can be viewed;
- checking the personal and passport details displayed;

When UK Visa Plan Can Help
Digital-status problems range from simple checks to more involved UKVI account issues.
The £50 Digital Record Check & Share Code Service is intended for people who can already access their account and principally want their digital record checked or help generating a share code.
The £100 Full eVisa & Digital Status Support Service is intended for cases involving account access, passport updates, eVisa display problems, incorrect information or technical issues.
UKVI Account & Passport Details
- unable to access or navigate your UKVI account;
- unsure whether your current passport or travel document is recorded correctly;
- need to add or update a replacement passport;
- need to update your name, contact details or other personal information.
eVisa & Share Code Problems
- unable to view your eVisa;
- having difficulty generating a share code;
- seeing incorrect information on your eVisa;
- experiencing a technical problem with the UKVI system; or
- preparing to travel and wanting to check your digital record beforehand.
What Is an eVisa?
An eVisa is the Home Office's digital record of a person's identity, UK immigration status and the conditions attached to that status.
A UKVI account is used to access the eVisa, view the digital immigration record and generate share codes to prove status where required.
It is important to distinguish between the immigration status itself and the UKVI account used to access and display that status.
UK Visa Plan's eVisa service concentrates on the practical use, maintenance and troubleshooting of that digital account and record.
Unable to Access Your UKVI Account?
Access problems can arise because an applicant no longer has access to the email address or telephone number associated with the account, does not know which identity document was used when the account was created, or has difficulty navigating the UKVI sign-in process.
UK Visa Plan can help you identify the appropriate official recovery or access process and work through the practical steps with you.
We can help you:
- identify the UKVI account or sign-in information available;
- work through the official account recovery process;
- check whether an eVisa has been linked to the UKVI account;
- help organise the information UKVI may require; and
- explain what to do if the normal recovery process does not resolve the problem.
Update Your Passport or Personal Details
Your UKVI account should contain up-to-date personal information and details of the passport or travel document you currently use.
UKVI specifically advises account holders to update details when they change their passport or travel document, name, telephone number, email address or address.
UK Visa Plan can help you work through the appropriate UKVI update process, including where you have received a replacement passport or need to check whether your current travel document is recorded correctly.

Unable to View Your eVisa?
If you can sign into your UKVI account but cannot see your eVisa, the first step is to establish whether the account and eVisa have been correctly linked and whether the problem is an account issue or a technical error.
UK Visa Plan can help you work through the relevant Home Office process and identify the information needed to report the problem if it cannot be resolved through the normal account functions.
Problems Getting a Share Code
If you can already access your account and eVisa and simply need help generating the correct share code, this will normally fall within our £50 Digital Record Check & Share Code Service.
If the share code cannot be generated because of an account, eVisa or technical problem, the £100 Full eVisa & Digital Status Support Service may be more appropriate.
Different Share Codes Have Different Purposes
Incorrect Information on Your eVisa
Sometimes the digital record displayed in a UKVI account contains information that appears to be incorrect.
This might include an incorrect name, date of birth, nationality, photograph or immigration-status information.
The Home Office provides a dedicated service for reporting errors in an eVisa.
UK Visa Plan can help you identify the information required for the report, organise the relevant reference numbers and documents, and assist with completing the appropriate error-reporting process.
When the Error Service Can Be Used
- incorrect details shown on the eVisa;
- inability to generate a share code despite being able to view the eVisa;
- a technical error preventing the eVisa from being displayed; or
- a Home Office-created UKVI account that has never been accessible.
Check Your eVisa Before You Travel
We can help you check:
- that you can sign into the UKVI account;
- that your current passport details are recorded;
- that the eVisa can be viewed;
- that the displayed personal information appears correct; and
- whether any account update or error-reporting process should be completed before travel.
Preparing for Travel
If you can already access your account and simply want the digital record checked before travel, our £50 Digital Record Check may be sufficient.
If your passport needs updating, your eVisa cannot be viewed or the digital information appears incorrect, our £100 Full eVisa & Digital Status Support Service is likely to be more appropriate.

What This Service Does — and Does Not — Cover
UK Visa Plan's eVisa & Digital Status Support is a practical administrative and technical-support service.
We can help you navigate the official UKVI systems, organise information, update account details, access digital status, generate share codes and use the Home Office processes for reporting errors and technical problems.
We do not determine or change your immigration status, and we do not provide individual regulated immigration advice about whether a person is entitled to a particular form of leave or status.
If the issue concerns a substantive dispute about immigration status, the conditions attached to leave or another matter requiring regulated immigration advice or representation, we will make that clear.
Official UKVI eVisa Services
UK Visa Plan support is based around the official Home Office services. Depending on the issue, these include:
- accessing and using an eVisa;
- updating UKVI account details;
- viewing an eVisa and generating a share code;
- recovering UKVI account access; and
- reporting errors with an eVisa.
